I first met this lovely couple when I listed and sold their property in Boyd Avenue Whanganui
And our friendship continued
Have known Alan for a longtime
Maureen & Alan were a very hospitable couple and I always enjoyed our chats

My heartfelt love goes to all the family and all who knew and loved Alan. He was a sweet gentle man that my father so dearly loved through so much over decades of being mates. Thank you Alan for being there for dad when he so needed you in the past few years and recent months. He thought of you and more importantly remembered you through his foggy mind. He would say 'I must speak to Alan and see how he is getting on' and you spoke not that long ago. It was lovely to see that connection.
May Alan's gentle soul be free to fill your hearts like his smile and hugs once did and my hope is that he is enjoying a decent whisky with dad again.
