Passed away suddenly on 6 April 2026 in Whanganui.
Born in Whanganui on 25/12/1946 to the late Bas and Pat, the elder brother of John and brother in law of Ali, Gen, Neil and Rose.
Max was the beloved husband of Pam for 54 years, and loving Dad and father in law of Jo and Graham, Kay and Joe, Nicky and Jason.
Granddad Max was adored by all his mokopuna; Ataraira, Hinengākau, Te Kaponga, Mangō-Ururoa, Kahurangi, Huia, Jakob and Isaac, and his nieces and nephews.
Max is resting at home.
The whānau invite his friends and family to visit the home in the morning of Wednesday or Thursday, and to join us in farewelling Max on Friday.
Max’s funeral service will be held on Friday 10th April 2026 at 10.30am in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui.
Max will then be interred at Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.
