Farewell to our gentle-souled brother Steven who passed away suddenly in his sleep on Monday 1 June 2026 aged 59 years.
Though Steven faced the lifelong battle of mental illness, the last 11 years were his happiest.
We are forever grateful to the fantastic team at Stanford House, in Whanganui, for providing a place where Steven thrived.
A much-loved son of the late Ward and the late Margaret Burnett.
Loved brother of Rosalind, Derryn (dec), Heather, Brendon and their partners, and loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Steven’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui on Monday 8 June 2026 at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.
