On 1st August 2026 peacefully at home, aged 83 years.
Dearly loved Wife of the late James.
Much loved Mum & Mother-in-law of Gina & Pascal, Derek, Tash, Ted & Erin, & Bridgit.
Much loved Poopah of Sophie, Ella, Henry, William, Reagan, Jack, Georgie, Isla, Hugo, Marie, Charlotte, & Felix.

Loved Sister & Sister-in-law of Peter & Gael, Paul & Pamela (both deceased), Judy (deceased) & Paul.
Friends are invited to attend Prue’s Funeral Service in the Whanganui Collegiate School Chapel, Liverpool Street, Whanganui, on Friday 7th August 2026 at 11.30am to be followed by Interment at the Brunswick Cemetery.

The team at Hair Technique will miss you, always a pleasure to see your smiling face and enjoy at chat.
Many happy memories over the last 60 years. Because of mobility problems we will not be attending Prue's funeral but will be watching it online.

On behalf of the wider and older members of the Horowhenua, Manawatu, Rangitikei and Wanganui Pony Clubs we want to acknowledge not only the part Prue played in her service to the organisation but also our pleasure and admiration for her wonderful, quirky, colourful and staunch character. She was valued for her fairness in dealing with issues contentious or small and always for the betterment of all riders and their mounts.
To her family, whom she loved greatly, our thoughts are with you as we farewell Prue.
