Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the New Vista Rest Home, Whanganui, on 3 December 2025, aged 86 years.
Very much-loved wife of the late Bing.
Loved and treasured mum of her children and their partners.
Cherished gran to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eldest sibling of ten and the matriarch of the Hill family.
A loved friend of many.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Yvonne’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Monday 8 December 2025 at 11:00 a.m to be followed by a private cremation.

Stunned, shocked and sorry to catch up with Saturday's paper and learn of my old neighbour's passing. I am upset to have missed her funeral. My sympathy to you all. Yvonne was a great neighbour. Khayyam mised her for a long time after she left, as did I of course. She was so proud of you all and you were so appreciative of her it was a pleasure to know the family. Frances

Sorry I didn't know Yvonne had passed away. I was one of Yvonne's carers when she was living at home. I had such pleasure and lot's of laughter spending time with Yvonne. Yvonne loved her family. She loved seeing them when they came to visit. Yvonne loved her garden and doing her crossword puzzles and reading.
Yvonne you gave me immense pleasure spending time with you.
