On July 8, 2025, peacefully in his home, aged 81 years.
Beloved husband of the late Claire for 62 years.
Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Graeme and Karen, Mark and Tina, Scott, and Garth and Stephanie.
Much loved Poppa of Keenan, and Chamae.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of David (Deceased) and Laurel, and Ngaire and Ian.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ian’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 1.30pm to be followed by a private cremation.

Ian was a great Dalgety mentor & friend and although we have not seen one another in recent times, we always knew one another. I remember a discussion with a daughter-in-law at the Cancer Lodge in Hamilton some years back and Ian sent a neat message. Dalgety was a great conduit for long lasting friendships.
