Our beautiful Mum, Te Aroha Lovina Henry, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving whānau.
She was the embodiment of aroha — the heart of our family, a cherished sister, a thoughtful Aunty to many, and a devoted, deeply loved Nan.
Her presence touched generations, and her love will continue to guide us forever.
Now reunited with her darling, Joseph Henry, held in the eternal love of her children — Sharon, Tony, Clayton, and Joline — and her many cherished mokopuna.
Mum will be at home with whānau until her farewell on Wednesday, 25 June at 10:00 a.m. at Te Kura o Kokohuia.
The day will begin with pōhiri, followed by her service and then interment at Aramoho Cemetery.
Haere atu rā e te pou aroha o to tātou whānau.
Haere ki te okiokinga mutunga kore, haere ki te iwi nui i te po, ki tōu tauaroha hoki.
Moe mai rā e te taonga, moe mai rā i roto i te rangimārie.

Aunty Loha, we haven't seen much of each other over the years but I remember the fun days when we were kids and we would come over and stay at your house in the days when you were a posty and Uncle Joe work at the freezing works. You may not know this but you have been encouraging and instrumental in my life (and apparently, many others :) ). You told me to find myself and jump on a plane and see the world.
