Born on 13 November 1968 passed on 14 January 2026.
After fighting with unmatched bravery, she has finally found her peace.
Shelley was a loved daughter of Laurie and Trish Humphrey, a much loved wife to Wayne Palmer, mother to Forest, and Chili Palmer, and sister to Trieste and Jamie, and Nicola. She was a devoted nana, aunty, and treasured presence in the lives of many.
Shelley always made everyone smile.
She loved deeply and generously and had a special way of making strangers feel like friends.
She gave her full attention and expected nothing in return, and through that love she taught us how to be better family, friends, and people.
Shelley was loved and cherished beyond imagination by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to a service to honour Shelley’s memory and send her on her journey to the heavens.
This will be held in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui at 10.30am on Saturday 24 January 2026 to be followed by a private cremation.
