Dear Jocelyn and family.
We are so sorry to hear that Grenville has passed away. We will always remember him as the ‘silver fox’ during our time at Intermediate. A man of good humour and stories.
Sorry we can’t be there to celebrate his rich life with you. May he rest in peace.
Kind regards
Jo and Jonathon

Dear Jocelyn and family
Matt and I have just heard the news of Grenville’s passing. We are so sorry to hear that. We have so many amazing memories of him. Such a larger than life funny and happy man. Unfortunately we are out of the country as we would have loved to have celebrated his life and stories at his funeral tomorrow. Much love Jocelyn. Matt and Carole

Dear Jocelyn and Family
I have just read this news today and was saddened by his passing as well.
I have many fond memories of our time we shared together and always appreciated his and your kindness, humour and warmth towards me when I used to come down and see you both.
He was a truly delightful person who entertained us all with his larger than life personality.
I want to send my love and sympathies to you and the family thinking of you during this sad time from Chongqing, China where I currently work.
Warmest regards
Peter Hickey

I had the privilege of having Grenville as a teacher at Churton School, he certainly was one of the best teachers. I can specifically remember his tutorial to make Nasi Goreng, stories and each Friday giving out chocolate bars.
Thinking of the family during this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy to you all. I worked on the staff at Churton with Grenville and especially loved him relieving occasionally in my classroom as he was so wonderful with the children. He will be sadly missed by all.
