Joan died on Saturday just days after her wedding anniversary.
The marriage of Joan & Ross produced three children, ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
The family loved and adored Joan – their Bamma and Jojo.
It was Joan’s wish not to have a funeral , but rather a Requiem Mass in her honour.
Respecting her wishes, the family will bury her beside Ross in the Patea cemetery.
A Tribute to Joan will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday 24 May at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Guyton Street, Whanganui, preceded by her Requiem Mass at 1:30 p.m.
