Peacefully in Wanganui Hospital on 10th December 2025, aged 75 years.
Loved son of the late Enid and Fred.
Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Dianne and the late Hugh Kenderdine, Russell and Heather, and Allison and Warren Smith.
Loved uncle of Ruthe and Andy, Iain and Rosie; Yvette (deceased) and Tony, Will and Rachael; Hannah and Cameron, Jessica and Andrew, and Matthew.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Victor’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui on Monday 15th December 2025 at 11.00am to be followed by a private cremation.

We’re sorry to hear of victors passing and our best wishes go to the family. Our family was a neighbour to victors farm on Durie Hill. Mel and the kids remember an escapee sheep wandering onto our property. Victor wandered down our drive and asked if we’d seen a sheep. Sure have it’s in the backyard. It then took all of us including 3 young children to convince the sheep, under victors instructions, to go back into the paddock. We all had a good laugh afterwards. We had lots of good chats with victor over the time we were in Plunket street. He was a very nice person and will be missed.
