It was with sadness I read of Pam's passing in todays paper. I have known her since we were at school as we lived down the road at Longacre. Our farm was over the road from the Kemptons. I clearly recall her playing the piano while her cousin Trevor Harrison played the xylophone (that is what I was told it was) but as my grandson now plays the marimba, vibraphone and others I realise it could have been one of them. I was fascinated with the performances they did at various community functions. I also recall her wedding day. She was a lovely lady and so friendly over the years whenever we caught up. Paddy and I will never forget our honeymoon as it was at her Foxton Beach Bach. My parents were very fond of her mother and were amazed at her stoicism when she started farming after Arthur died at such a young age. I truly hope that many happy memories of past times together help you through this very sad time.
