Passed peacefully on 10 December 2025 at Whanganui Hospital, after a bravely fought battle.
Dearly loved partner of Merrilyn (Bubby).
Treasured and respected father of Patrina, Nannina, Mario, Kati, Johnathon, Aaron, Carl, and Nicholas.
Adored grandfather and great-grandfather.
Cherished brother and brother-in-law, and a much-loved uncle to many.
The whānau extend their heartfelt thanks to the teams at Wellington and Whanganui Hospitals for the care and compassion shown to George.
George will be resting at his home until his service, all are welcome.
Whānau and friends are warmly invited to attend a celebration of George’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Monday 15 December at 1:30 p.m. to be followed by a private cremation.

So sorry we are not able to come to celebrate and farewell George's life and passing.
He will be greatly missed by many. My memories go back to my Dad's and brothers passing, he made the effort to attend their services.
He was a lovely, friendly, caring and giving man, also liked a chuckle and a good story.
