Peacefully at Kowhainui Rest Home on Tuesday 30 December 2025, aged 71 years.
Dearly loved son of Ray Uren (dec) and Pam Whiting (dec).
Much loved brother of Raewynne, Debby, Gary, Gaylene, and their partners.
Special thanks to all the staff at Kowhainui for their exceptional love and care of Hobo.
‘Will be greatly missed by all his mates’
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Hobo’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Thursday 8 January 2026 at 1:30 p.m.

Special memories and lots of laughs with hobo we spent many years with him both in wanganui and again when he moved to Perth.
Very sad to hear of his passing.
He was on top of the world when we saw him last year when back.
