Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 5 August 2026 at Kowhainui Rest Home, Whanganui,
aged 92 years.
Loving husband of the late Diana Margaret Weir.
Loved Father and Father-in-law of Scott & Liz and Grant & Maree.
Loving Grandfather of his grandchildren – Amanda & Isaac Scott and Hamish, Kent and Gemma & Levi Barrow.
Cherished Great Grandfather of Hugo, Bella & Lily.
A service to celebrate the life of Eric will be held in The Church of the Good Shepherd, Weraroa Road, SH3, Waverley, on Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 1:30pm.
The family would particularly like to thank the management and staff of Kowhainui Rest Home in Whanganui for their care of Eric.
